Karatsu Higashi High School

Over 120 years of history, Karatsu Higashi High School carries the motto Light, Strength, Hope.

Our partnership begins with a Virtual Exchange Program starting in 2026, with a short-term in-person exchange planned for June to July 2027. We are building this relationship the same way we built our first: carefully, and with the long term in mind.

“We hope this program becomes an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding through dialogue with Indonesian high school students, building friendship and understanding across borders. We hope our students will share their own thinking, encounter different values, and gain the broader perspective and global awareness that will help them shape their own future.”
