This virtual exchange program by Mirai Eduventure is great! The teachers are kind and understanding. They take you from hiragana & katakana to common words and even common phrases. You can even meet new friends from Japan! Pretty perfect for someone who wants to start learning Japanese, if you ask me.

First of all, I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of the MIRAI program. Initially, I didn't have any expectations, but it turned out to be the best two weeks of my life. I met so many wonderful friends and interacted deeply with them. I also learned so much about social interaction. Beyond that, I experienced the genuine warmth of family with my host family, and so much more. In short, I want to say a huge thank you to MIRAI for walking alongside me through this challenging yet fulfilling journey. Thank you so much.

My name is Zivkava Aisya Safargan. I was in the Mirai Eduventure exchange program, and honestly, I had an amazing time. Firstly, when we went to Saga, we didn't directly go into studying, and we surely didn't just go around freely. My group and I had a bunch of time to hang out, get to know each other, and make bonds that will last a lifetime. They were like a second family to me.

I must admit I was quite scared that I wouldn't make friends and also ridiculously scared that I wouldn't be able to socialize or bond with them. I mean, I wouldn't want to go to Japan for two weeks and be lonely. But when the program started, I honestly forgot all about my fears. It was so fun and thrilling, and I certainly felt as if I gained a new form of independence.

Besides that, the school where I had the program, Saga Gakuen High School, was so welcoming, warm, and wonderful, and I created a lot of friends that I will remember and think about to this day. The program had taught me a lot about independence and motivation, and we, as a group, shared a lot about ourselves, our lives, and our future plans. I think at the end, I felt so warm and comfortable with them.

My group made so many memories, from the plane ride there to our experience in the high school. We managed to interact with the students from Saga Gakuen, and we experienced classes like ikebana and calligraphy, and not to mention the clubs such as gaming clubs, kendo, and so on.

Overall, my experience was incredible, and I really recommend this, especially to those looking for an introduction to Japanese life and students who are planning to study in Japan for college.

Joining the virtual exchange and the exchange program at Saga Gakuen was truly a life-changing experience. Spending a month learning conversational Japanese, exploring new cultural, and collaborating on a culture-sharing project with Japanese students laid such a strong foundation for our bond before we even met in person. When we finally came together, everything clicked—allowing us to communicate smoothly, build deep connections, adapt quickly, and create unforgettable core memories both inside and outside the classroom. Beyond gaining cultural competency and improving my language skills, this entire journey taught me how to be independent, self-aware, and open-minded, leaving me with memories and friendships that I will treasure for a lifetime. 🌟🇯🇵✨

I am very glad I decided to participate on this Saga Program by Mirai Eduventure! Although I have my doubts at first, it became my most memorable moments in 2026. Joined this program felt like my long dream finally came true after admired of a student exchange to Japan for so long. To experience living in Japan independently and experience Japan culture in person was a very precious moments. We gained so much experience and knowledge after the journey. We made friends along the way, felt the kindness of the people towards us, even the knowledge about the study in there. Of course the bonds between us became so strong! I assure you joining this program wouldn't make you regret it if you want to try slow living and experience Japan Culture in person calmly.

Joining mirai was the best thing that ever happen to me and I'm not regretting a single thing.

have been dreaming to join a student exchange program to Japan so much but the qualification is so hard. At last I eventually try out for mirai and I'm overjoyed when I get accepted. Exactly 2 weeks in saga & fukuoka has left me so many unforgetable memories, starting from exploring the town with mirai friends, meeting students in Saga gakkuen, spending time with host family, its every of my dream come true. If it was possible I would even stay for 2 months rather than 2 weeks. What I love about this experience is that the daily life I have to go trough is really different from how it is in Indonesia, in a very good way. And I want to thank mirai team so much as they are really kind with their approach and this experience.
